The Lions Journey
Lacrosse is more than just a sport. For many, lacrosse plays a vital role in their lives, usually beginning at School or University and continuing at club or international level as a Graduate. But what about those whose passion lies within mixed lacrosse? Those who wish to maintain the elite standard of play but are limited by what clubs have to offer? Home Nations Lions Lacrosse was built was set up to provide a platform for mixed lacrosse players to continue their lacrosse journey at the highest level.
Mission
Our mission is to offer players the opportunity to hone their lacrosse ability within a high intensity, elite environment. For international players, Lions is their opportunity to play mixed lacrosse at the same high level that they are used to, and have a lot of fun whilst doing it. Non-international players are able to play with the best of the best within the Home Nations - something that may otherwise be inaccessible.
Vision
Home Nations Lions Lacrosse is already generating huge recognition both in the UK & Ireland, as well as in Europe and the USA. Our plans include introducing mixed lacrosse to an audience who may be completely new to the sport, or may see it as more of a social game than an elite sport. The skills required to play this style of lacrosse are immense, so using our supporters to help us to grow the game further will be invaluable.
